It has been way to long...

Sorry everyone, it has been way to long since I posted anything. We have been keeping pretty busy around here with service and a bit of travelling :)
Here are some pictures of the little English convention we went to in Panama City. Travelled 7 hours and got to stay with our first panama friend Pam back in chame :)

Here's an idea of how far we travelled

The brother in the headphones is Luke from our little puerto group :)

This outdoor assembly hall is on the old panama bethel site.
Friday we had 499 in attendance, Saturday there was 538 and then Sunday 619 brothers and sisters.
It was so awesome getting to know other need greaters in panama
We met amber and Curtis mills in the picture above. They are from Calgary and he is from Vancouver. Some of you might know them :) They came here about 8 years ago to just check it out, ended up becoming special pioneers in a small town on the Caribbean side, now they are missionary's and are taking care of the Ngöbe translation department here in panama. So awesome to meet young people in full time service :)
The couple on the left are serving in colón and were ester and mordicai in the drama brother on the right was visiting from Connecticut. He has been in world wide construction and was In Paraguay, he's looking for the next adventure :)
This is Chris from Maine, he is serving in a Spanish group in a small in the mountains called Cerro punta. That's his sister visiting for the convention. Kind of crazy, I had met his brother in a small town Los organos Peru when I has lived there with Amanda. Small world!

This is Kate and Ariana. We lived with Ariana (on the right) fora month when her pioneer partner had to suddenly return to the states to see family. She left for New Mexico after this convention. Left me with lots of awesome studies :)
Kate is from Australia. She moved in with us after the convention for a couple of months. She has been living in puerto for a year now, loves to surf and has some awesome studies out in the middle of nowhere. She has travelled the world basically, lots of cool experiences. She's been fun to hang out with too here in puerto :) we have been loving having a variety of people, we feel very cultured haha.

Sister on the left is Michelle. She is from Colorado, and is serving in volcan with another sister. Really fun sister that we have been able to do some service with too, a bunch from volcan had come to help us out in puerto :)
The sister on the right is here with her husband from Newfoundland! More Canadians! Her husbands sister Cherise and Husband lived in Colin's parents suite for a while in victoria. We all have someone in common!

Colin with Kenneth! Kenneth is in our hall in puerto and I trying to learn English. His head was hurting after a full 3 days of English.
Don and sandy made it to the assembly! Sandy is our progressive bible study we have here in puerto, she is from California. Her husband was nice enough to accompany her. He was a little concerned aot having to sit and listen to bible talk for a whole day in the heat though, he asked how she would feel if he made her sit through a whole football game... Haha nice he came though :)
The trasks from the states are moving to puerto. They already have a house here, they get here on the 16th! More help!! :)

The langstons from Oregon have been serving in Mexico but have now moved to boquete to serve. Really nice couple, he gave a talk in puerto. He mentioned that young girl, Whitney, in Oregon who was murdered. He read a beautiful letter from Whitney's mom. So sad for that family but with everyone's support they have been doing ok.
Couple serving in boquete

Really nice couple serving in bugaba, they gave us a ride back to puerto :) they are from Missouri and have been here almost 5 years. Before they came to panama he had a successful construction company. They both decided they wanted to serve where there was a need. He was really involved with RBC so he wanted to do one last kingdom hall build back in the states before he left so he didn't take any secular work for the hall build just decided he would work to save for panama after the hall build. So for 3 months he didn't work, only at the hall. As soon soon as the hall was done the mayor came to the open house and offered him a job and another brother offered him a job and with just those 2 projects it was his best year for work he's ever had and so he made enough money to get him and his wife to panama.  Amazing what happens when you put Jehovah first!

Tyler and Kenneth from puerto!

This was the family from the Friday drama, the couple who played the mom and dad actually had lost a daughter so their pain in the drama was so real. They said it was really hard at first but being a part of it made the paradise that much more real for them and how soon they will get to see their daughter again.
Sandy and I! We study the watchtower together every Tuesday at 10 :) so awesome she made it to the convention!
Joe on the right helps on all the hall builds here he has even recruited us for a hall build! Really fun brother who gets things done around here!

The drama on Sunday... Haha a very interesting hat... And on the left its the black version of Colin haha for those who don't know what I'm talking about. Colin was the same character in the bright red, back in the assembly in Canada.
And here we are!

Lots of fun meeting new people!
